Art Lovers - this one's for you!

Theologian and philosopher Thomas Merton famously said “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” There’s certainly a variety of art available at this Christmas Encraftment in the form of wall art, prints and greeting cards. Here’s a selection you can lose yourself seeking out at the market!

If you’re a lover of gorgeous botanicals, the artworks by Libby Chambers Art, Georgette Thompson Art and Just South West really present a fresh look from bright and colourful to moody and mysterious.

If you love a bit of quirky and like to keep things interesting, Dust & Dandelions and Yhodesign will have something you are sure to be drawn to. As will Sarah Greig Illustration and Design, whose animal and landscape drawings span the divide between young and not as young. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see Sarah drawing while at the market.

Hazy Prints Studio brings art hangers, prints and calendars to brighten your walls and brighten your day. Prints and cards from Sweet Petite and Jett Black provide something fun for the kids rooms in ranges of brights, pastels and monochrome colours.

The young and young at heart will also appreciate the playfulness of artworks by Little Wolf Studio and Emily Caygill Illustration. We love Emily’s focus on detail and find something new to see in every picture.
