Shapes by Sal - Sally-Mae Hudson is a self-taught linocut printmaker. After having graduated with a Bachelor of Sustainability and Outdoor Education in 2018, Sally began craving something more creative so bought some cheap carving tools and gave it a go. Her love of the natural environment, plants and animals, particularly New Zealand’s native flora and fauna are a huge influence on her artwork and she takes a lot of her own personal experiences with the outdoors and turns them into linocuts. Sally-Mae also creates custom logo stamps for other small businesses.
The Clothworks re-purposes second-hand fabric by employing eco-print and dye techniques using flora foraged from Christchurch's Residential Red Zone to create one off pieces of textile art. Transferring the tannins and pigments from leaves on to fabric creates unique colours and textures – bringing a little bit of our garden city, in to our homes.
YhoDesign - Yhodie is an Illustrator and graphic designer based in Christchurch NZ. He is a founder of Yhodesign where he creates his geometric art style. His works are range from landscapes, superheros, animals and other objects of interest. He produces his arts into prints, tote bag, stickers, t-shirt and other medium.
He has also been working with companies in New Zealand and around Australasia and produced some work including logo design, business card, marketing materials, magazine and other graphic works.
